Occasionally, users may face internet connectivity or server availability issues while using the Ambi Climate app.
"Check your internet connection" error message:
If you see the "Check your internet connection" error message, it means that your device failed to connect to our server. Follow these steps to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check Device and Power:
- Ensure that your Ambi Climate device is connected to a power source.
- Verify that the device is powered on and operational.
- Verify Internet Connectivity:
- Use a smartphone or tablet to check if the Wi-Fi network your device is connected to has internet connectivity.
- Make sure that other devices connected to the same network are able to access the internet.
- Power Cycle the Device:
- Power cycle your Ambi Climate device by turning it off and then on again.
- Wait for a few moments to allow the device to reconnect to the Wi-Fi network.
"Server is down" error message:
If you see the "Server is down" error message, it indicates that our server is currently undergoing maintenance or experiencing an outage. Follow these steps:
- Wait for Server Recovery:
- Do not reset or power cycle your Ambi Climate device during this time.
- Your device will automatically reconnect to the server once it becomes operational.
- Power Cycle the Device (if necessary):
- If your device remains disconnected even after the maintenance window is over, power cycle it by turning it off and then on again.
- Allow some time for the device to establish a connection with the server.
